Con mi cara no

In Paraguay, the use of facial recognition technologies in football stadiums is already a reality, and with it arise questions such as: Who manages our biometric data? For what purposes? And what happens if the technology fails? From TEDIC we launched #ConMiCaraNo, a project designed with and for fans, which seeks to inform and raise awareness about the risks of this technology in sports. In a context where there is no personal data protection law in Paraguay, it is essential to demand transparency and respect for our privacy.

To this end, we developed accessible and practical resources such as a fanzine with information, themed masks for fans, informative flyers, and a dedicated website with tools to defend our rights. We were inspired by fan experiences from other countries to show that together we can create change. The field is ours, our data too.
