We understand that today’s challenges are global and have a direct impact on the local context, which is why we develop and document our advocacy efforts at the national and international levels. For this project, we coordinate our work with reports submitted to the UN, the OAS, and other organizations. We also work through networks, bringing our voices and positions to international forums while simultaneously strengthening our advocacy at the national level on issues affecting digital rights.
Disinformation
It is understood as false, inaccurate or misleading information disseminated intentionally to cause public harm or generate revenue. This approach recognises disinformation as a potentially harmful form of expression, but one that does not necessarily fall within the categories of illegal speech already defined, such as defamation, incitement to hatred or violence. Cybersecurity, personal data and anti-surveillance
